Registration Questions - Updated Information at bottom of article

There have been many questions about our new registration system. Here are the most common ones with their answers:

1) Why are we paying a separate national AYSO fee?

The AYSO national fee was always a part of the fee you paid for your child to play AYSO soccer.  Now that fee is separate and non-refundable.
2) I want my child to play Fall 2017 only.  How do I do register him/her for that?

Please choose the Core Program Option to get started. Then when asked "Is your player playing spring 2018?" during the registration process, answer "no", proceed on and you will only be charged for fall only, Core Program.  The total will be $77.50 for your first player.

3) Why am I being charged a NAP 4005 Player Registration Fee?

This is the fee that covers adding on Spring 2018 to your player's registration.  You answered "yes" when asked if your player was going to play spring 2018.  Adding on that fee/spring season will sign your player up for fall and spring.  They will be placed on a team for fall season and remain on that team for the spring season.  One jersey/team/coach for both seasons.

4) My child just played in U6 this year, why is he being placed in the U8 division for the 2017-2018 season?

AYSO switched to BirthYear Registration and so all of the children who were born in the second half of the year are skipping a division.  The exception to this would be those who played in our larger divisions, U12 and U14.  Those players will either remain in the same division as this year (the youngest players) or jump up one division (the older players).  Please see the AYSO Age Determination Chart in the Quick Links to view the different divisions.  Please remember that your child will be playing with children who will be the same age.  Adding the U7 and U9 divisions last year has helped to ensure that the teams are much more balanced.

5) I'm not sure I signed up for the correct seasons - fall only or fall and spring?  How can I be sure?

Please email the registrar: and she can verify what you have registered for.  She can also help you modify your registration if it is not what you wanted.

6) I would like my child to play just next Spring 2018?  Can I register now?

We will be opening up Registration for just Spring 2018 after the Fall 2017 season has begun.  This spring we added many players and will hopefully be able to do that for Spring 2018 as well.

Updated additional questions and answers

1)   My spouse registered my child, how do I log into their account?

The Primary Account User can send you an invite to be an Additional User on the account with which your child was registered. To invite an Additional User to your account, click on the gear icon in your account to "Edit Account Info", scroll to bottom of Primary Parent/Guardian Info page and click on the green "Add Secondary Account Holder" button

2) Are there tryouts?

For our regular Fall/Spring Core Program, there are no tryouts, everyone plays!  For our new players in divisions 9U - 12U, we will hold player evaluation sessions to determine their skills ratings so that we can balance the teams fairly.  These will be held on July 17 and 18.
